Documentary & Event Photography

Documentary & Event Photography
Professional event photography for companies, organisations and production teams. I cover events as they happen, combining key moments with natural interactions, details and wider views that show the atmosphere and scale of the occasion.

My experience includes corporate events and celebrations, conferences and business meetings, openings and presentations, sports events, employee programmes, educational events, production behind the scenes and multi-day activities or tours. Depending on the project, the final photo report can be used for corporate communications, PR and media, employer branding, websites, social media and internal archives.

My approach is documentary but structured: I follow the programme closely, work around guests and participants without interrupting the event, and make sure the final selection gives a complete picture — people, action, environment and the important details around them.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
A New Year celebration and theatrical performance organised for the children of employees at a major industrial company. The event included a large stage production with performers, dancers, costumes, lighting effects and several different scenes.

The photography covered the event from different perspectives — wide shots showing the scale and atmosphere of the production, key moments on stage, individual performers and the interaction between the characters. The result was a complete visual report of the celebration, suitable for the company’s internal communications and corporate archive.
Behind the Scenes — Ocean Star
Behind-the-scenes photography during the filming of Ocean Star, a documentary project about young talents in Mauritius. This episode followed a promising young football player, with filming taking place at his home and around his everyday environment.

The photography focused on the production process itself — interviews, camera and lighting setups, interaction between the film crew and the participant, and the quieter moments between takes. The result was a documentary-style visual report showing both the story being filmed and the work happening behind the camera.
International Industry Conference
An international business conference bringing together professionals from the shipping and logistics sector. The photography covered the full programme of the event — speakers, presentations, panel discussions, audience reactions and informal communication between participants.

The aim was to create a complete and consistent visual report, combining formal conference moments with natural interactions and details of the event environment. The resulting images were suitable for post-event communications, media publications, corporate reports and promotion of future conferences.
Off-Road Racing Event
An off-road racing event featuring modified 4x4 vehicles competing across mud, water and difficult terrain. The photography covered both the competition itself and the wider atmosphere of the event — vehicles and participants before the start, spectators along the course, technical details and the most dynamic moments of the race.

The main challenge was to follow fast and unpredictable action while showing the conditions of the track and the scale of the event. The result was a varied photo report combining action shots, environmental views and details from throughout the day.
Volleyball Tour in Mauritius

Photo coverage of a volleyball tour in Mauritius, combining a beach tournament with an island excursion programme for the participants. The project included both the sporting part of the trip and more informal moments outside the competition.

The photography covered the matches, players in action, portraits and team interactions, as well as the group’s activities during the excursion. The result was a complete visual report of the tour — from the energy of the tournament to the relaxed atmosphere of travelling together in Mauritius.
Opening of a Public Discussion Space
Photo coverage of the opening of a new public space created for meetings, round tables and discussions on social and community issues. The venue was designed as a place where experts, local representatives and members of the public could meet, exchange ideas and work on practical initiatives.

The photography covered the opening programme, speakers, guests, discussions, networking and media interviews, as well as the atmosphere of the new venue itself. The result was a complete event report showing both the official launch and the way the space was intended to be used.
Open Day at a Pilot School
Photo coverage of an open day at a pilot school, organised for people interested in aviation and flight training. Visitors learned how the training programme works, met instructors, explored the aircraft and attended an introductory lesson on aircraft structure and basic systems.
The photography covered the full programme of the day — presentations, interaction with instructors, practical demonstrations in the hangar, aircraft on the ground and flights. The result was a clear visual report showing both the educational side of the event and the real environment of pilot training.
