Gold Smelting & Pouring

Industrial photography of a gold melting process, where timing and lighting had to be planned in advance. The process itself moves quickly, while the production areas are very bright in reality, so the main challenge was to create a darker atmosphere and make the light feel as if it was coming from the furnaces.
The final image set was created for the company’s corporate image library and included employees at work, the melting and cleaning process, finished gold bars, and the equipment in operation.
